As the teams finished the race, paddlers were greeted with hugs and leis. The canoes were then all carried across the beach to a soccer field to be stored for the evening. What a color sight this was to see. Over a hundred of the sleekest racing outrigger canoes on the planet were packed together like cars at the mall on a super shopping day spree.
